Goorme Rolls

Goorme Rolls is an Indonesian food blogging network.

It is an effort to help (food) blogging community increasing their blog traffic and gain more exposure.

How Does It Work?

Just follow these simple steps:

1. Register for a SITOES ID
2. Submit your blog rss feed
3. Install Goorme widget on your blog

Once approved, your rss feed will be automatically & regularly indexed by Goorme. Additionally, your posts will appear on Goorme.com/rolls (partially), as well as showing up on widgets through out our blogging network.

Please keep in mind that:

• Only food content is allowed -- Have mixed content on your blog? here is a solution.
• We will remove any inappropriate contents.
• Category abuse and possible repeat offenders will be removed temporarily.
• Indonesian (language) blogs are the highest priority.
• English-speaking blogs, run by Indonesians, are also accepted.

• Only Indonesian speaking blog?

  Currently, Indonesian-speaking blogs are our highest priority. However, we are also open to any English-speaking Indonesian Food Bloggers. Please keep in mind, for English-speaking blogs, the mission must be clearly to promote Indonesian culinary culture.

• What is the benefit for me (blogger)?

  Our main objective is to help (food) blogging community increasing their blog traffics via Goorme Widget.

• Is Goorme accepting any Indonesian Food Blogs?

  Yes, we are accepting every Indonesian food blogs that pass our screening process. That also means that not every submitted blog is accepted.

• I submitted my blog, but I did not receive any respond.

  May be due to our workload, we oversaw your submission. Please contact our editor via editor [at] goorme.com.

• What if I just don't write about food only?

  You can only submit your food category specific RSS.

• What is my food-specific category/tag RSS?

  Wordpress users, please perform the following instructions from Wordpress.
  Blogger/Blogspot users, please perform the following instructions from Google.

• What is Goorme Widget?

  A widget is a small script that you add onto your blog. It will automatically display data (other blog feeds) from Goorme.

• Why do I have to include Goorme Widget on my blog?

  The whole concept of Goorme Rolls: Food Blogging Network is about community effort. Your link will be available on other blogs in the network. Hence, expect cross traffics from blogs to blogs, not just from Goorme.

• What contents are in Goorme Widget?

  We only aggregate food contents only, which include anything about food reviews, restaurant reviews, recipes and other food related topics.

• How do I install Goorme Widget?

  Wordpress - Just copy and paste the provided source code into Wordpress Text Widget - see instructions. Blogger/Blogspot - http://www.blogspottutorial.com/2009/01/how-to-install-twitter-widget-in.html

• How often do I have to post an article?

  There are no specific minimum requirements. However, from time to time, we will remove any inactive blogs. Additionally, only new contents will be displayed in the network via Goorme Widgets.

• Do I have to submit my articles manually to Goorme?

  No. Once you submitted your blog feed (and approved), Goorme will automatically 'read' your feeds and aggregate the contents.

• How to categorize my article feeds on Goorme?

  You can just simply apply keyword tag (Wordpress) or label (Blogger/Blogspot) on your articles. Make sure the tag/label matches the category names on Goorme.

• My article is already aggregated, but not visible under certain categories. What should I do?

  See the bottom of article module on detail page, you will find a tag link to edit your tags. Add more tags related to the category you wanted.

• What about Google duplicate content policy? Will that affect my site?

  Goorme will only display a partial of your article, which no longer considered as duplicates. In addition, we also provide a back link to the original source.
